Fambrini's Cafe

The food is constantly delicious. One of my go-to brunch places in the peninsula and South Bay. We got sandwiches: Legal Addition with Sourdough and Chimichuri surf turf with French bread. The flavor is rich and bread is wonderfully soft. The latte is pretty good too. The atmosphere adds to the experience with its charming wooden decor and lush greenery. It’s a fantastic spot to spend a weekend morning with friends.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday at 11:30 am. There were tables available inside and outside but we decided to sit outside since the patio is very cute with greenery. We ordered the goat cheese scrambled eggs and pancakes. We very much enjoyed the egg dish especially the potatoes ! Everything was well seasoned and not to salty. I did not personally enjoy the lemon pancakes and I felt they tasted more like an artificial lemon candy taste than fresh lemon which was what I expected. We enjoyed our drinks as well, I especially loved my rose matcha latte! The service was great and we felt well taken care of even with the place being open seating. The staff turned the heater on for us and got us side plates to share. Would definitely return again!

I ordered the breakfast items. Smoked Salmon Scrambled as well as pancakes which had cotton candy. The salmon was not scrambled but was probably steamed! The dish was very wet and gross to eat. Potatoes were tasteless and avocado was not ripe! The pancake was fine, but it’s sweet for sure. I learned later to stick to the basics and get the sandwich instead. Don’t bother with brunch items. Also we had a little mice that made the whole experience much worse as it ran around the dining area.

Went here after almost 6-7 months and the taste is still the exact same.. awesome! They had new additions to the menu which was nice. We had the lotus biscoff pancakes and possibly one of the best pancakes i have had till date..that flavor is so good! California omelette was great as well. Dalgona iced coffee was a pleasant surprise..definitely the best dalgona i have had. Best part is the atmosphere and the plating of food. Irresistible!

I had high hopes for Fambrinis. And to some degree, it lived up to it, but not in the department I wanted. Based on the pictures, the dishes look absolutely declicious. And the actual dishes were presented at the same caliber. The disappointment was with the taste and quality of the food. The pancakes were fluffy, but combined with lemon sauce and cotton candy... it was somewhat off. The Monte Cristo had a slight off balance with the ham and cheese - not sure whether jam was included but again the taste palette was imbalanced. And then the French toast... somehow the toast itself was thick cut yet wasn't as soft. Now the cafe atmosphere is fabulous. The area where you buy the food is modern, high ceilings, airy, etc. But the jewel of Fambrinins on a sunny day is the back patio and the roof created with outdoor umbrellas. I'll definitely visit Fambrini's again. It is absolutely worth the visit. But whether it is worth the stars on Google reviews... I'm not too sure.

This Palo Alto brunch spot offers both great aesthetics and flavors! They have different themed pancakes for every holiday. The Pink Pancake for Valentine's Day is a real treat, but unfortunately, it's limited to the holiday. However, their Halloween Black Sesame Pancake is a delightful seasonal option. 📍 Location: 2500 El Camino Real Suite 105, Palo Alto, CA 94306 🥞 Pancakes: ✔️ O Lala Pancake: It's huge, perfect for photos, not overly sweet, and the buttery flavor stands out. ✔️ Halloween Pancake: The black sesame flavor adds a unique touch, making it one of the best choices on the menu. 🥪 Sandwiches: ✔️ Steak and Egg Sandwich: Better than a burger, the freshly cut steak is tender, and the combination with cheese is heavenly! I'll definitely order this again. ✔️ Salmon Toast: A friend tried this and found it excellent! The presentation is exquisite. ☕️ Coffee: ✔️ Matcha Latte: Strong matcha flavor with a subtle milk taste, likely made with fresh milk rather than creamer. ✔️ Cappuccino: Better than the matcha latte! I highly recommend this one. Plus, it looks great!

The atmosphere of this place is fantastic, located very close to downtown Palo Alto and the garden dine-in area is really good! The food on the other hand is average at best, they lack any flavor. The mushroom burger was very bland and did not come with any condiments. The pancakes were good but they were too expensive for what they offered.

Loved the food quality and portion size! The ambience is perfect for a good healthy brunch in shaded patio. It has a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas. The cafe needs you to order before grabbing a seat so you will always find a queue outside the cafe. Loved the frebch toast and salmon mango salad. Overall a perfect spot for brunch/lunch with good food and service.
